Dana Point could become county’s first coastal city to ban plastic foam from being brought into town

City officials in this beach town could be the first in coastal Orange County to close a loophole in a plastic foam ban that still allows food vendors to package food and drink in that material and bring it into the city to sell.

Dana Point, along with Laguna Beach, Newport Beach and San Clemente have complete bans against plastic foam use.
